Summary:
Perform all functions required to produce quality filter products Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned.
Hand solder wire filter products by either dipping part into a molten metal dish, or by holding a solder gun and wire flux to apply melted flux to solder two parts together.
Most products are hand sized weighing only a few ounces.
The solder gun has a weight of up to 3 lbs.
Must produce quality parts according to customer and print specifications; must be able to identify solder requirements and tolerances on the blueprint or shop packet.
Must perform dimensional and quality checks as required and be able to use gages including micrometers, calipers and indicators.
Troubleshoot process issues as needed.
Review shop packet, including blue prints, to determine part specifications or quality standards to ensure production process is in compliance.
Count parts to ensure proper quantity of product and scrap.
Identify scrap material and properly control.
Measure production parts using various gages including micrometers, calipers, indicators, go/no-go gages, to ensure parts are in compliance with standards.
Must maintain a clean workstation.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to sit for an extended period of time; work with hot, molten metal and a hot soldering gun; must be able to work in a warm environment due to the heat of the molten metal.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and independently.
They must be able to plan the day to meet the daily production schedule, control the lot numbers, and trouble shoot to minimize scrap.
The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 30 lbs.
Special Vision Requirements:
Must be able to effectively use optical scopes for extended periods of time Job Type:
