Job Description:
We are a seeking Assistant Growers to join our team.
The Assistant Grower will be responsible for working alongside the Head Grower and assisting with growing and caring for all marijuana plants.
The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, highly dependable, and has a passion for working hands-on in the cannabis industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
Care for plants from vegetative state until harvest Assist/complete all the tasks in all areas of cultivation of cannabis including but not limited to:
cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, pruning, irrigation, harvesting, waste disposal, and inventory management Collaborate closely with Head Grower on a daily basis Uphold plant scheduling and organization Sustain a clean and organized operation/work environment Develop and maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as legal and safe plant treatment options Utilize Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting & Compliance (METRC) software Stay up to date and ensure compliance on state marijuana laws and regulations Regular communication with Classic Roots Farm team members and executives
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years old Must pass a background check No growing experience required Strong work-ethic Strong documentation, inventory, and organizational skills Strong collaboration skills Ability to learn quickly on the job Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the marijuana industry Job type:
