Environmental Field Project Manager

The Environmental Field Project Manager (known internally as a Field Project Manager) is responsible to increase the win rate enabling the region to add incremental revenue beyond the established budget prediction. This individual scopes projects, provides client support, and prepares proposals and cost estimates
Responsibilities:
o Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
o Manage and oversee technically complex long term projects involving the installation, operation, and maintenance of groundwater and soil remediation systems.
o Manage and oversee technically complex large scale projects involving the use of mobile remediation systems used to treat contaminated water and vapor streams.
o Be able to interpret detailed technical bid specifications and then prepare proposals and detailed Technical Work Plans, including cost estimates and schedules.
o Prepare technical reports, O & M manuals, technical drawings, and submittal packages.
o Prepare weekly project cost tracking, and project forecasting.
o Manage subcontractors, contracts, purchase orders, billing, and collections.
o Manage all field operations related to assigned projects, including Clean Harbors crews and equipment.
o Act as an agent of business involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues.
o Enforce the policies and procedures as it relates to Health & Safety. Will be measured off the districts health and safety record. Works closely with the superiors in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
o Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Requirements:
o High school diploma or equivalent required
o 5
years experience in environmental, remediation OR site construction.
o Cost estimating and computer proficiency.
o Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
o Excellent writing and communication skills.
o Strong environmental remediation background and experience.
o In depth knowledge of remedial technologies.
o Proficient in Windows based activities.
o Excellent presentation skills.
o Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Strong customer management skills.
o Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
o Excellent interpersonal silks.
o Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing remedial sites.
Physical Requirements:
o Requires speaking, listening.
o Requires standing, walking and sitting,
Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. Some positions also require a pre-hire medical exam. Must meet all work eligibility requirements. Environmentally-responsible business.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
